WEATHER FORECASTER PULLS DEAD BODY OUT OF THE SURF
Last week, Australian weather forecaster Luke Bradnam of 9News Gold Coast had just finished a live weather report on dangerous tidal conditions at a beach called Narrowneck, when a nearby beachgoer alerted him to a body in the water. Bradnam stripped off and raced out with the boogie boarder, and the two hauled the body through the surf. Authorities identified the corpse as belonging to a man who had been missing since the previous night. Bradnam then hopped back on air to report on the event.
* And then he gave the 5-day Corpsecast.
* What, he didn’t warn about the dangerous conditions the night before? Nice job, Luke.
* Al Roker, the ball’s in your court.
* See, local newscasters? THIS is how you go out and actually find news.
