VATS OF BULL SEMEN DESTROYED IN FIRE

In Gippsland, Australia, vats of bull semen were destroyed in a fire. Around 100 cryogenic cylinders exploded at the Yarram Herd Services company, splattering their contents throughout the building. They contained “shots” of semen worth between $5 (£2.76) and $95 (£52) each. Fire officials said the liquid inside the cylinders rapidly expanded, causing the lids of the cryogenic cylinders to pop off and turn into projectiles. Each cylinder was worth between $500 and $1,000. Yarram Herd Services Committee said the loss of that much cattle semen will be a “huge blow” for the farmers. The company will have to restock.
* I don’t hear any complaint from the bulls.
* So, the vats shot their wads.
* The building must have been a mess. I hope the firemen were wearing their rubbers.
* “Hold those hoses tight, men!”
* The place looked like a Three Stooges pie fight, only ickier.
