UNTIL LOCKDOWN, MANY PEOPLE HAD NO IDEA WHAT THEIR PARTNER REALLY DID AT WORK
According to a new survey from Virgin Media of 1,500 British adults currently working at home due to the coronavirus pandemic, nearly half admitted they had no idea what their significant other’s job involved until now.
– 46% of adults said their knowledge of their partner’s job was “they work in an office” or “they have lots of meetings.”
– Now that couples are working side by side, 40% have finally realized that their partner’s job is more demanding than they ever assumed and 32% have learned that their loved one’s job is interesting.
– Another 20% said their partner’s job seemed pretty boring.
* Hey, if it was fun, they wouldn’t call it “work”.
* I came home the other day, my wife said, “Did you know there’s a guy on the radio who sounds just like you?”
* 32% have learned that their partner’s job is interesting? That seems way too high.
* There was a lot of jealousy when partners got to see how much time each other had to goof off.
* I bet those two astronauts on the SpaceX rocket that didn’t launch yesterday went home last night and their wives went, “Did you remember to stop and get milk?”
