TODAY’S DATE IS A PALINDROME
Someone has pointed out that from today through May 19, every date written numerically is a palindrome. That means you can read it forward or backward and the date will be perfectly balanced. For example, today (Wednesday) is 5/10/15. If you read it backwards, it’s also 5/10/15. This will hold true through May 19. After that, the next palindrome day will be June 6, 2016, when the date will be 6/10/16.
* Like my days aren’t topsy-turvy already.
* I believe this bit of trivia was discovered by a man from Panama, who had a plan, and also a canal. (A man, a plan, a canal – Panama)
* I can’t believe we’re engaged in such trivia while Tommy Brady doesn’t even know when he’ll play football again.
* I hate to be a pain here, but when they chose a word to mean “palindrome”, why not make it a word that’s also a palindrome?
* You know…just for the symmetry of the thing.
* Why not call them a kayak or a radar or a tenet. Wouldn’t it make more sense if the word that describes things that read the same backwards and forward, also read the same backwards and forward? I’m just sayin’.
