THIS WEEK'S FOOD RAGE STORY: MAN REFUSES TO EAT RAMEN NOODLES, IS BEATEN

A Pennsylvania man beat up his friend for refusing to eat some ramen noodles. Brecknock Township police say 23-year-old Brian Douglas Hunter had cooked the noodles last Thursday night and became angry when his 20-year-old friend refused to eat them. Police say Hunter punched the other man in the right eye 10 to 15 times. Police say the victim had bruises, swelling and a 1-inch cut under his eye.
* He punched him until the whole right side of his face was al dente.
* Can you blame him? After all that effort he must have put in to cooking the ramen noodles.
* I can understand wanting to stick to your low-carb diet, but I wouldn’t take a beating for it.
* If he got beat this bad over ramen, imagine if the other guy had made Chicken Chow Mein.
* Something tells me there was more to this.
* Not to disparage the noodles or anything.
* This is big. We’ve now had violent encounters over all the major food groups.
* Ironically, the man hit the other guy right in the noodle.
* The other man’s vision is fine or at least it is in the left eye. The right eye? Not so much.
