THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO IN 2019

Here are some things that will be happening in 2019:
1. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their first baby, sometime in the spring.
2. The 75th anniversary of D-Day.
3. The 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission, which first put men on the moon.
4. The 150th anniversary of the Periodic Table of the Elements
5. There will be a massive Fortnite tournament in 2019 with a prize pot of $100 million.
6. The 100th anniversary of the Grand Canyon being designated a national park.
7. Movies: “Avengers: Endgame”, and live-action versions of “The Lion King,” “Aladdin” and “Dumbo.” Also, “Frozen 2”.
8. Disney World and Disneyland are both opening a new Star Wars-themed land.
9. The end of “Game of Thrones” and season 3 of “Stranger Things”.
10. Another KISS farewell tour.
* Come on, I’m still trying just to make it ’til Christmas. Don’t lay this stuff on me.
* Speaking of KISS, in 2019 you can probably kiss Sears and K-Mart goodbye.
* Also in 2019, probably still no next “Game of Thrones” book from that lazy lardbutt George R.R. Martin.
* It should have been “Strange Things”, then “Stranger Things”, then “Things That Are Even More Stranger”.
* They’ll probably stop at Season 3 ’cause they’re running out of horror movies to copy ideas from.
* Mostly what I’m hearing here is, hang on to your wallet.
