THIEF STEALS MCDONALD’S MONOPOLY PIECES

A hooded man wielding a knife stormed into a McDonald’s in London, England, and stole a box of Monopoly game pieces. Looking for help from the public, the police released surveillance footage from the March 2nd crime. It shows the fully masked man walking into McDonald’s waving a knife at staff, grabbing a box of Monopoly game cards and vouchers and leaving the restaurant with the box. The Monopoly pieces are part of a promotional game in which McDonald’s customers collect pieces that can be redeemed for prizes, including a Mini Cooper car, a Play Station 4 or cash rewards of over $130,000.
