THIEF PUTS PUTTERS DOWN PANTS
Police in Stuart, Florida, say Anthony Raimondi, 26, entered the Golf Gear store on July 9 and put a Callaway putter in his pants, then left without paying for the more than $200 club. Store employees recalled Raimondi from an earlier incident in the store and, after a review of security video, found Raimondi on July 9 also took a putter and hid it “the same way.” Raimondi was arrested on two counts of retail theft.
* What a putz.
* Wouldn’t a putter down the pants keep trying to tap your balls into the hole?
* “My, that one customer sure doesn’t bend his leg much when he walks.”
* How does that work exactly? Do you sort of hop out of there afterwards?
* Well, they arrested him, so apparently it doesn’t work too well.
* Sure it looked awkward but so did a lot of putts at the British Open this weekend.
* He tried to steal a wedge once but it gave him a wedgie.
