THE UNLUCKIEST THINGS IN YOUR HOUSE

If you believe in feng shui – that the things that surround you contribute to positive or negative energy – here are some items you probably have in your house that you need to get rid of:
– A broken clock. Said to be related to bad omens.
– A black door, which invites bad luck into your home — unless your door faces north.
– Mirrors, which can steal your soul.
– An old calendar.
– Broken dishes. Dishes symbolize wealth and family. When you eat on cracked plates, you’ll subconsciously welcome troubles and failures into your life.
– Cactus plants. Plants with thorns (with the exception of roses) will bring negative energy and bad luck into your home.
– Dead plants.
– Green walls.
– Empty rocking chairs. An empty rocker is just inviting dead spirits to sit in it.
* I can’t get over the feeling that this story is an advertisement for Bed, Bath and Beyond.
* Sorry, I’m a little busy trying to get rid of the cockroaches, the bedbugs, and the mice.
* Eating on cracked plates? I’m in radio. I eat on paper plates.
* I love how the rose lobby got in there to create an exception to thorny plants.
* So what if mirrors can steal your soul? It’s about looking good, right?
* Some of these are easy, but moving my black door to the wall that faces north? That’s going to involve some serious remodeling.
* Well, I’ll give them one thing here: We certainly aren’t suffering from too much positive energy right now.
