THE KIKI CHALLENGE – DON’T DO IT
Parents, apparently you have to tell your children that they should not step out of a moving car. The new viral craze known as the “KiKi Challenge” is sending people to the hospital left and right. The social media challenge dares drivers to get out of a moving vehicle and perform choreographed dance moves to the Drake song “In My Feelings” while the car, in neutral, rolls along. The song includes the line, “Kiki, do you love me.” Videos of the challenge show people jumping out of cars, crashing into pedestrians, lampposts, falling into potholes. One guy got hit by another passing car. One woman was robbed as she concentrated on her dance moves.
– Anna Worden, 18, was critically injured last week when she jumped out of her car in Bettendorf, Iowa. She got out, tripped and fell and hit her head. She ended up with a fracture in her skull, blood clots in her ears and bleeding in her brain. She now has to re-learn to walk.
* I don’t get it. When the guy in the song asks Kiki if she loves him, does she jump out of the car?
* You think these people are stupid now? Wait ’til one of them tries to sue Drake.
* Remember planking? Yeah. That was fun. Those were the days.
* I say encourage it. Let’s thin the herd a bit.
* In case you’re wondering why so many urgent care clinics are popping up everywhere? Viral internet challenges.
