THE HOUSE THAT DRIPPED BLOOD
Thomas Kennedy’s son asked him, “Daddy, what is that coming down the walls?” Kennedy checked the mysterious red liquid oozing down the walls of the family’s apartment in Midwest City, Oklahoma. It was blood. Kennedy wiped it with a sponge, and it started coming down again. Kennedy called the police. They went upstairs and discovered the corpse of a neighbor who had fallen and cracked his head. The county medical examiner ruled the neighbor had died of natural causes. The Kennedy family was relocated to a different apartment in the complex.
* That’s gonna leave a mark.
* Talk about a cliche. How many times have you seen this in a movie?
* Then, in the middle of the night, there’s a knock at the door, and it’s the dead guy.
* He wiped it, saw it was blood, but then only called the cops when it started leaking again? Oh well, I guess you have to be sure.
* What did he think the first batch meant? A shaving cut?
* Oh, by the way – that new apartment they moved you to? Don’t look under the sink.
* So there’s a city called Midwest City, Oklahoma? My, what an imaginative name.
* Midwest City’s tourist slogan is “Visit us or some other city like us.”
