TEXAS WOMAN ASKS TO RESCHEDULE THE ECLIPSE

A Texas mother has questioned why the upcoming American solar eclipse could not be held during the school holidays. The event in question was the Solar Eclipse Party hosted by the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, scheduled for August 21st, the day of the eclipse. Unfortunately, children in Dallas will be returning to school on that particular Monday. The mother posted a question on Facebook, “Most kids go back to school that day, Can it be done on the weekend?”
* Tell you what. We’ll just rerun the eclipse on Monday night.
* This is the kind of stuff that makes Bill Nye want to just stay in bed.
* This is called a Cranial Eclipse, when your stupidity moves in front of your cognitive ability. It’s very common in parts of the U.S.
* Post back to her that the rules require her to get 20,000 signatures on a petition. That should keep her busy.
* At least this eclipse is happening during a full moon, and not, like during a crescent moon when the effect would be less.
