SUSPECT HIT WITH PIPE BY VICTIM, RUN OVER BY ACCOMPLICE

The Kaufman County, Texas, Sheriff’s Office say that last Saturday night, two men went to another man’s house intending to do the man harm. The homeowner, however, fended off one of the men with a pipe – striking him several times. The other man attempted to flee the scene, lost control of his truck, and ran over his friend who had just been beaten with the pipe. The man who was beaten and run over by the truck was taken to a Dallas-area hospital with lacerations to the head from the pipe and also a large laceration on his buttocks from being run over by the truck. The other man is still at large.
* But other than that, though, the plan worked like a charm.
* If this had been one of those samurai sword stories, it would be much less charming.
* If they had video, this is one where it’d be fun to add sound effects.
* Like when the pipe hits the guy in the head, you could go with a bell sound.
* This could also make a pretty lively truck commercial.
* “Ram tough: When you’re fleeing a crime scene, nobody should get in the way.”
* The guy’s buttocks were also pretty damn tough.
* So I guess they’ll have to put off trying again ’til the one guy gets out of the hospital.
