SURVEY: TEENAGERS

Piper Jaffrey released their semi-annual survey of 8,600 U.S. teenagers. Here are some specifics on the state of today’s teens:
– Food is their #1 spending priority. Chick-fil-A is the top teen restaurant hangout, overtaking Starbucks.
– Their top shopping destination is Amazon.
– Brands are the most important thing in teens’ decision to buy something.
– Their top five clothing brands are Nike, American Eagle, Adidas, Forever 21, PacSun.
– Top five footwear brands: Nike, Vans, Adidas, Converse, Foot Locker.
– Instagram is the most-used social platform for teens, just above Snapchat. Facebook is on the decline.
* Teens’ favorite bank: Mom and Dad.
* Food is their #1 spending priority? So Generation X parents are terrible cooks?
* Nothing about vaping? Nothing about YouTube challenges? Sexting? These Piper Jaffrey people need to get it together.
* There would have been more teens in the survey, but they were on their phones with somebody else.
