STUCK DRIVER LIGHTS SIGNAL FIRE

25-year-old Wes Vetere of Green River, Utah, got his car stuck when he tried to turn around on a hillside in a sparsely populated area of the state. He decided to light a signal fire for help. Officials saw the fire alright, because it burned up to 40 acres of old growth Cottonwood trees and other vegetation and threatened several structures. Vetere was arrested for arson.
* Flaming a-hole.
* Now he’s stuck again – in jail.
* Time for another signal fire.
* Too lazy to walk to the nearest house, eh?
* The funny part would have been if the fire burned up his car.
* This is where you say, “Thank goodness you’re here, Officer. I came across this fire and I pulled over to put it out.”
* Then add, “If I can get my hands on the idiot who set it, I’d wring his neck.”
* So I guess cellphone service is not that good in the Green River area.
