SPIRIT AIRLINES KICKS BABY OFF FLIGHT FOR SPITTING UP
Evelyn Circeo was traveling home with her 6-month-old son to Boston from Orlando last Friday on Spirit Airlines. Shortly before boarding, Circeo’s baby spit-up on her in the restroom. When she got on the plane, she requested an aisle seat from an attendant, because it’s more convenient to be on the outside with a baby. Next thing she knows, another flight attendant told her she needed to get off because her baby was too sick to fly. She told the attendant that nothing was wrong, he spit up, he was a baby being a baby. Other passengers urged the flight attendant to let the mom and her baby remain on board, but nope, the decision had been made. Once Circeo deplaned she went to the ticket counter and discovered her luggage, with her extra bottles and diapers, were still on the way to Boston. After complaining, the airline refunded Circeo’s flight and reimbursed her for incidentals while she was stranded in Orlando. Spirit also offered her two roundtrip plane tickets for her troubles.
* So she can go through it all again two more times! Isn’t that great of them?
* They never throw off the crying babies, just the spitters.
* “He’s not sick, he’s just got a touch of bulimia.”
* Spirit Airlines? More like Evil Spirit.
* Meanwhile, over at United, they’re saying, “They sent her luggage to Boston? Nice touch! We should start doing that!”
