SPAIN ALLOWS TOPLESS BATHING IN PUBLIC POOLS

The city of Barcelona, Spain, is now allowing women to go topless in the city-run public pools, after complaints that some swimming pools were discriminating against those wanting to bare more. Several municipal pools were found to have rules that restricted women’s rights. As a result, the council’s office against discrimination sent a reminder to every municipal pool that they cannot prevent women from going topless. The city emphasized that topless bathing is nothing new in Spain.
