SON SETS UP ROBBERY OF HIS FATHER'S HOME
Prosecutors in San Jose, California, say a teen was the mastermind behind a May home invasion robbery at his father’s home. Simerjeet Singh, 17, was charged Friday in connection with the May 8 incident. Three other suspects were charged as well. Prosecutors said that two of the suspects broke into the home, while a third person was waiting in a getaway car. Singh wasn’t at his father’s home during the burglary, and doesn’t live in the home. The burglary was partially captured on home surveillance cameras. The men, armed with knives, could be seen trying to kick in a door. Two terrified women and a 1-year-old girl were on the other side of the door. As one woman dialed 911, the suspects took off. No one was hurt. Investigators say one of the suspects claimed that the real mastermind of the operation was the homeowner’s 17-year-old son.
* I question the use of the term “mastermind” in this story … unless they’re being sarcastic.
* Doesn’t it read better to say the 17-year-old was the dumb ass who thought this up?
* “Two of you break into the house while the third guy waits in the car.” That barely even qualifies as a “plan.”
* They never got inside, so it also barely qualifies as a “robbery”.
* If you were going to do this wouldn’t you wait ’til … I don’t know … your family was out of the house?
* Who’s Father’s Day will be more awkward – Caitlyn Jenner’s, or this guy’s?
* You know what’ll be awkward? The next time that woman in Spokane celebrates Black History month.
* Or as I call her “The Sister from another Planet.”
