SINKHOLE SWALLOWS 14 CARS IN IHOP PARKING LOT
An enormous sinkhole swallowed at least 14 vehicles in an International House of Pancakes parking lot in Meridian, Mississippi, Saturday night — just a week after the establishment opened for business, NBC News reported. The sinkhole was about as big as half a football field. The hole took 14 to 15 vehicles, dropping them about 30 feet into the ground. There were no injuries. Officials don’t know what caused the sinkhole, but the town received 3 inches of rain over the weekend and nearly 10 inches over the past two weeks.
* Sounds like about 14 people have enough time for a second cup of coffee.
* I would have thought the collapse would come under the dining area, if you know what I mean.
* You can enjoy your Rooty Tooty Fresh ‘N Fruity Pancakes while Flippin’ Floppin’ Cars Go Droppin’ in the parking lot.
* They’re not sure why but the town got 10 inches of rain recently? Uh, that’s what is known as a clue.
* This went even worse than the KFC opening in Iran.
* They tried filling the hole with pancakes but it was too deep and they were just too flat.
* You had to have that second stack, didn’t you?
* It’s now called the Subterranean House of Pancakes.
