RACING PIGEON SELLS FOR $1.9 MILLION

A Belgian racing pigeon named New Kim was sold for $1.9 million at an auction on Sunday, setting a new world record. Two anonymous Chinese bidders battled against each other for the bird, with the winner believed to be the same Chinese industrialist who set the previous record last year by paying $1.4 million for Armando, another champion racing pigeon. It is thought that the new owner is going to breed the two birds.
* Or maybe he just really likes pigeon eggs for breakfast.
* During the auction the bidding war caused quite a FLAP.
* Something tells me New Kim wasn’t the only pigeon in the room.
* Nice to see rich Chinese blow their money on stuff as dumb as rich Americans.
* It sounds like a lot to pay but you can earn that back once the pigeon gets a sneaker endorsement deal.
* This is coo… coo.
