PRISONER NEARLY ESCAPES WITH THREAD AND TOOTHPASTE
Police in Walton County, Florida say a prison inmate nearly escaped after using a piece of thread and toothpaste to cut through an iron bar. An officer who was inspecting the prison around 5:00 a.m. on Sunday was given a note by inmate, stating that another inmate was trying to flee by cutting through the bars of the window. The inmate complained that he could not sleep because of the noise of the cutting. Officers went into the cell of 26-year-old Chase Courville and found him looking out the window. During a search, they found a large crack on the window and one of the iron bars was nearly cut through. Police also found a thread from a blanket covered with toothpaste, which was used to cut the iron bar.
* Reruns of “MacGyver” will no longer be shown in the rec area.
* “Stop escaping! I’m trying to sleep!”
* What the hell are we using on our teeth?
* I want Bill Nye the Science Guy to explain how this is possible.
* Where did that blanket come from? Superman’s baby rocket?
* My blankets can barely survive a trip through the dryer.
* Maybe we should go over the concept of flossing again.
* See? You learn how to do things on this show.
* File this away because if you’re ever in lockdown you’ll be glad you did.
* You better be serving a long sentence though because this is going to take awhile.
* Now he’s tunneling through the concrete floor by slowly dripping water on it and waiting for the erosion.
