PRESIDENT OF EL SALVADOR TAKES A SELFIE AT U.N. PODIUM

El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele paused before his maiden speech on Thursday at the UN General Assembly – to take a selfie. He said, “If you’ll just bear with me a second,” and then pulled out his iPhone and snapped a photo he later posted on Twitter to his 1.1 million followers. President Bukele said, “Believe me, many more people will see that selfie when I share it than will listen to this speech.”
* For god’s sakes, don’t tell that to Trump. That’s all we need.
* So – is he saying that when it comes to giving speeches he’s a loser, or the whole “U.N.” thing is a loser?
* Now he calls himself the president of El-Selfie-Dor.
* These kids today with their Central American countries and their iPhones!
* The U.N. used to work to solve the world’s problems. Now it’s a photo op.
