POT-SMOKING DRIVER COULDN’T SEE THROUGH WINDSHIELD

In Melbourne, Australia, Benjamin Saurini, 19, admitted he was trying to flee police after smoking marijuana in his car with some friends. Driving away from the scene, he panicked and side-swiped a police cruiser – pinning an officer against the car and breaking his leg. Saurini ended up turning himself in. He told police he had trouble seeing out of his windshield because of the pot smoke fogging up his car windows.
* He never learned how to operate the windows, either.
* His judgement was cloudy, and so was the air in the car.
* Too bad they weren’t in a convertible.
* He gave the cop a broken leg, or as they call it in Australia, “Just a scratch”.
* And this year’s Cheech & Chong Award goes to Benjamin Saurini!
