POPE FRANCIS ENCOURAGES HAIRDRESSERS NOT TO GOSSIP

Pope Francis on Monday welcomed hairdressers, hairstylists and beauticians to the Vatican. His message to the hair care professionals: don’t gossip. He said, “Practice your profession in a Christian style, treating customers with kindness and courtesy, and always offering them a good word and encouragement, and avoid giving in to the temptation of chatter that easily creeps into your work environment.” He said the cosmetologists should be guided by their patron saint, Peruvian Martino de Porres, a 16th-century barber-surgeon whose miracles include levitation, being in two places at once, instant cures, and an ability to communicate with animals.
* Huh? This guy could be in two places at once, and Mother Theresa becomes a saint just for helping sick poor people?
* Saint Martino also performed a miracle that made 16th-Century men look years younger – he invented the comb-over.
* Gossip. What decade is the Pope living in?
* Mostly the Pope would prefer if you stop gossiping about what the priests are doing.
* The cosmetologists all thanked the Pope and, as they were leaving, every single one asked if he needed any more product at home?
