POLICE RIFLES REPLACED WITH TOY GUNS
Police officers in Paraguay last week discovered that at least 42 of their FN FAL (* gun people will know this Belgian-made model) battle rifles had been stolen from their armory and replaced with toy replicas made by Airsoft. Officials were performing an inspection at the headquarters of the Department of Armaments and Munitions of the National Police when they found the toy guns, which fire plastic pellets. The real rifles reportedly sell on the black market for up to $10,000 , and had turned up in Brazil. Paraguay’s Minister of the Interior Juan Ernesto Villamayor addressed the situation calling it, “a very serious criminal act.”
* The military is currently taking a crash course in pointing the rifles and saying “Pew pew pew!”
* Paraguay cops now say, “Stop or I’ll put your eye out with this thing!”
