POLICE CHASE ESCAPED RACEHORSES

A loose horse isn’t that unusual of a story, but on Tuesday police in Port Kennedy, Western Australia, had to chase down a pair of racehorses that escaped from a training facility. The horses from the Lark Hill Thoroughbred Training Facility became spooked by kangaroos, bucked their riders, and took off down busy roads and through urban areas. One horse was captured about 5 miles away from the farm when bystanders were able to calm the animal. The second horse was captured by police as it approached a shopping center, about 2 miles from the training center. The horses were returned to the training facility uninjured.
* When they were led back, they had such long faces.
* Let me guess – as punishment, they were made to do laps?
* Sad. The horse at the shopping center was REALLY hoping to get a ceiling fan for his stall.
* Spooked by Kangaroos would be a good name for a racehorse.
