PIZZA DELIVERY GUYS ROBBED AT SWORDPOINT
Police in Cincinnati arrested a 13-year-old boy Tuesday in connection with two incidents this weekend where pizza-delivery men were robbed by a group of sword-wielding males. The suspect was arrested at his grandmother’s house, which is also where the robberies occurred. Officials said the three “Samurai swords” used in the robbery were stolen from the house next door. In both robberies, three males held the pizza men at swordpoint and took their money and cell phones, then took off on bicycles. Police said they are still searching for two more suspects.
* Did they check the treehouse?
* The pizza guys surrendered ’cause they didn’t want to get a slice.
* Riding bikes while holding swords and loot. That’s sort of impressive.
* Although I think it might have been better to use a wagon.
* It does sound like some kids: “Hey, we have swords now. What are we waiting for? Let’s rob the pizza guy.”
* Then there’s the part about trying it 2 different times … from the same place.
* Then there’s the bicycles as getaway vehicles.
* I could just see a 13-year-old thinking, “Hey, we’ve stumbled onto the perfect crime here!”
* Then the next one says, “Yeah, plus we get pizza!”
