PET PARROT SAVES MAN FROM FIRE

Anton Nguyen was sleeping in his two-story house in Queensland, Australia, Wednesday morning, when he heard a bang and Eric, his pet parrot, started to yell his name, “Anton! Anton!” That’s when he smelled smoke. Anton grabbed Eric, opened the door and looked to the back of the house and saw flames. He ran out the door with Eric. His home was already engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived at the scene around 2 a.m.
