PARTY PEOPLE TELL COPS “PANDEMIC? WHAT PANDEMIC?”

A group of people caught throwing a party in southeast England told police they were “unaware” of the coronavirus pandemic because they don’t follow the news. Officers responded to an incident in Basingstoke last Saturday after numerous reports of a party at a residence, breaching COVID-19 rules that forbid social gatherings. After speaking to the occupants, police say the hosts claimed they were “unaware of the global pandemic, because they never watch the news.”
* Are there Amish in Basingstoke, England?
* If they were unaware of a global pandemic, how could they know there was a global pandemic to be unaware of? Ha ha – gotcha!!!
* Why did they think everybody was wearing masks? A national outbreak of bad breath?
* Wait’ll they find out about Brexit.
* If they don’t watch the news, they must be the last intelligent people on Earth.
