PARENTS REVEAL SANTA TRUTH; DAUGHTER SHOCKED
In a Facebook post from Dec. 10, Maryland mother Nicki Adams shared a photo of the notes her daughter, Belle, gave her parents after they told her Santa Claus wasn’t real. Mrs. Adams writes: “Belle asked point blank about Santa and she’s been asking every day. So we were truthful and she may never speak to us again.” Belle had slid a note under her parent’s door that read:
“You have no idea what you just did. I really tried to believe. Everyone told me it’s your parents. I can’t believe you anymore. Is the Easter Bunny real? How about the Tooth Fairy? Huh? You just ruined a 10 year old child’s life. Nothing will make me feel better. You lied to me about something I loved that broke my heart.”
And then she drew a few pictures of a hand giving the middle finger.
Adams says that she and Belle’s father “cracked up laughing” at their daughter’s reaction. She says that “Within minutes of the note Belle was just fine! We spoke to her about the magic of Santa and how he lives in her heart. She now knows that it’s her duty to be part of Santa’s team and to help others believe and spread the magic of Christmas.”

* Wait’ll she grows up and learns the truth about the American Dream.
* There’s one thing this little girl doesn’t need for Christmas: drama lessons.
* I guess it’s encouraging that she can write so well.
* Plus, the pictures of a hand giving the middle finger show an artistic side.
* I’m going to call this one: There’s more to be hopeful about here than discouraged.
* Hey, better to get used to being lied to now. It’ll prepare her for the media.
