PARENTS NAME BABY BOY “GOOGLE”
A baby in Indonesia was given the name “Google” by his parents. The name was legally registered – no surname or middle name, just Google. The eight-month-old boy’s father, 31-year-old Andi Cahya Saputra, said that he first contemplated the idea of giving his child a tech-related name when his wife was seven months pregnant. He ended up looking at names of technology companies and products like “Windows, iPhone, Microsoft and iOS”, and ultimately settled on the name Google.
* Dad’s a real Yahoo.
* They’re ga-ga over the name Google.
* I could have Googled a better name than Google.
* If it was a female, would they have named it Gurgle?
* Ios would have been better.
* At least they didn’t name him DuckDuckGo.
