PARENTING SURVEY

A survey by Mixbook, an Internet-based photo design tool, asked questions of 2,000 parents of school-age children. Some of the results:
– Parents say age 8 is the most difficult age to parent.
– The top 3 parenting milestones: first day of kindergarten; first time they walk somewhere alone; and starting first grade.
– Top embarrassing moments for a parent: Shouting something inappropriate; Undressing in public; Accidentally taking something without paying for it; Getting lost in a store; Having a tantrum.
* And THAT’S just your husband.
* The people who took this survey seem to have forgotten the years of endless diapers. Obviously blocked it out of their minds.
* The hardest time to be a parent is when they come up to you for the first time and say, “I want a cell phone.” That’s usually around age 3.
* When they come back in their 20s, broke, and want to move back in – that’s no picnic, either.
* PHONE TOPIC: Is 8 the most difficult age? Not 2, or 3? Not teenagers?
