PANAMA: OPPOSITE SEXES ALLOWED OUT ON ALTERNATE DAYS

Panama has enacted a strict coronavirus lockdown based on gender. President Laurentino “Nito” Cortizo announced on Twitter that as of Wednesday (April 1), women will be allowed outside Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and men on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. “On Sundays everyone should stay at home,” he said.
* I’m not sure he knows how this works.
* The first two days, everyone went to the thrift stores to buy opposite-gender outfits.
* If you’re transitioning, you can go out between 11pm and 1am.
* They call him “Nito” but he’s ideas aren’t very neat-o.
