ONE-QUARTER OF AMERICANS HAVE NOT READ A BOOK IN THE PAST YEAR
More than a quarter of US adults – 27% – say they haven’t read a book, either in whole or in part and whether in print or electronic form, in the past year, according to a new survey from the Pew Research Center said. Of those Americans who do read, the typical American has read just four books in the past 12 months, the study found.
* We don’t read books, but we read a War-and-Peace-amount of text messages every day.
* Look, if the book is any good, they’ll make it into a movie. And if the movie’s any good, they’ll make it into a TV show on the CW.
* Spider-Man, Ironman, Archie & Jughead – those count as books, right?
