NUDE SUNBATHER MISTAKEN FOR DEAD BODY

A naked man who was sunbathing Monday on the grounds of Chafford Hundred railway station near London was mistaken for a dead body by police. Rail workers spotted a pair of feet but “no signs of life.” Rushing to the scene, officers found a man in his late 30s enjoying some nude sunbathing. A spokesman for Network Rail reminded the public that the railway is not a place to sunbathe. Officials reported that there had been similar episodes of nude sunbathers in the past, saying, “It is not as uncommon as you might think.”
* To be honest, I haven’t thought about it at all.
* Which way was he laying? Was he showing his cowcatcher or his caboose?
* Usually, nude British sunbathers are mistaken for a sack of marshmallows. With maybe a couple of burned ones in the middle.
* “Hey, Neville, why’s that bloke wearing a lab coat?” “That’s no lab coat. He’s starkers.”
* It wasn’t the man’s body they saw as much as it was the intense glare off his naked skin.
