NEW FASHION TREND: COLORED TEETH

The newest strange fashion trend is painting your teeth. A company called Chrom makes a temporary tooth paint. It’s like nail polish, only for your teeth. For around $20 a bottle, you can paint your teeth yellow, pink, purple or green. The polish is formulated to stay on for up to 24 hours and stand up to eating and drinking. The company says it doesn’t stain your teeth, and it’s not permanent. To remove, simply brush with toothpaste. Chrom is made from a grain alcohol base and the pigments, similar to food coloring, are compliant with the Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act. The company claims the polish is “100 percent safe” and was formulated by dentists – although at least one dentist said he would not recommend daily use or the tooth paint without a full list of ingredients and a long-term study proving its safety.

* Also, we don’t say “colored teeth”, we say they are “teeth of color”.
