NEW BRIDE SAVES WOMAN WITH CPR

A new bride – still wearing her wedding gown – revived a woman Saturday who was lying unconscious on a Pittsburgh bench. Julie Stroyne, a trauma nurse at UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, was walking at the time with her new husband, Andrew Nixon, from their wedding reception held at the nearby high-class Pennsylvanian building. A bystander said the woman, who appeared to be in her early 20s, didn’t have a pulse. Stroyne got down on her knees and immediately began CPR. The woman was taken away by ambulance once the paramedics arrived. “There’s no time off,” the new bride said afterwards.
* Wow – she swooped in and helped just like Superman – if Superman was a lady who just got married.
* Which, these days, could be a perfectly normal plot twist.
* Sometimes these stories make me think I haven’t done enough with my own life.
* I recycle old soda cans. Does that count?
* This is perfect. A lot of newlyweds could use a trauma nurse on the honeymoon.
* It’s be sexy enough just for all the games of the naughty nurse and the lonely patient.
* “Tell me where it hurts? Does it hurt here?”
