MOTHER-IN-LAW WANTS WEDDING MONEY BACK FROM CHILDLESS COUPLE

A woman is raging on the website Reddit after her mother-in-law demanded a refund of her wedding contribution when she found out her daughter-in-law had her tubes tied. The unnamed woman and her husband of five years had made it clear from the very beginning they didn’t want children. But the woman’s mother-in-law kept bugging her about having kids. It all came to a head during a recent family BBQ at her mother-in-law’s when, after even more prodding, the woman told he mother-in-law that she had her tubes tied and her husband had a vasectomy, so having kids was just not going to happen. After dropping the bombshell, her mother-in-law stormed off crying. Several days later, the mother-in-law called to say she wanted a refund for what she paid for the wedding, which was around $400 for the rehearsal dinner. The woman hung up on her.
