MODEL ATTACKED BY LEOPARD DURING PHOTOSHOOT
A German model was mauled by a leopard during a photoshoot, leaving her unconscious and with large gashes on her face and head. Jessica Leidolph, 36, was posing for pictures inside an animal enclosure at a center for retired showbiz animals Tuesday when the 16-year-old leopard, Troja, sunk its teeth into her head. She passed out from severe bleeding and was rushed by helicopter to a hospital, where she was immediately operated on and is now recovering. Leidolph, who also has her own erotic calendar (* make sure you get that sales pitch into the story!), is a self-proclaimed animal rights advocate who owns a horse, cats, pigeons and parrots. The leopard, named Troja, had once appeared in a TV ad for electronics company Panasonic.
* But later it mauled the flatscreen TV, so that was the end of that.
* Time to take up hand modeling, I guess.
* It’s probably not a good idea to walk into a leopard cage smelling like a horse, cats and pigeons.
* Two words, Jessica: green screen.
* The leopard will now probably be docked his day rate.
