MEN TRIED TO SMUGGLE GOLD, CASH UNDER THEIR TOUPEES

Two men were busted at the Chennai International Airport in India trying to smuggle gold and money under their wigs. Magroob Akbarali and Zubair Hassan Rafiyutheen were apprehended by police on Sunday because of their bizarre hairstyles. Officials found black packets of gold paste weighing 698 grams taped on the underside of their toupees, which they had taped to their heads. In addition to the gold, they had some cash hidden under their fake hair. Gold was also discovered in the smugglers’ socks and rectums. All told, the confiscated contraband was reportedly worth a whopping $382,943.
