MCDONALD’S TESTS NEW SAMMICH

McDonald’s announced that it’s testing the Chicken McGriddle, a chicken-and-pancake breakfast sandwich. The sandwich is reportedly a McChicken with maple-flavored pancakes in place of the normal bun. If you want it, move to Ohio. The Chicken McGriddle is being tested in just 11 restaurants in central Ohio.
* Is it McGriddle with a ‘g’, or Mc – Riddle, with an ‘r’, as in “Guess what these chicken patties ‘r’ made of?”
* Nice job giving it a name I don’t really feel like saying out loud.
* And by the way, sticking “Mc” in the middle of every product name stopped being precious about 25 years ago.
* I guess central Ohio drew the short straw here.
* No, wait. That was mean: Central Ohio just won the fast food lottery.
* Chicken for breakfast? Who’s the dumb cluck who came up with this?
* Look for more of these goofy experiments as the global McDonald’s store traffic continues to fall.
* So much for McDonald’s new, healthier food menu.
* The idea is to develop a sandwich that gives you diabetes.
