MCDONALD’S IN JAPAN RATIONING FRIES

McDonald’s restaurants in Japan have started rationing their French fries. The chain will only offer French fries in small sizes now through December 30 because of a shortage, due to flooding at a port in Vancouver, Canada, not to mention supply chain problems from the coronavirus pandemic. Elimination of the medium and large-size offerings was necessary “to ensure that as many customers as possible will have continued access” to their French fries. McDonald’s added that the move won’t affect its hash browns.
* Kinda makes you wonder what the hash browns are REALLY made of.
* Well, I WAS gonna go to Japan over the Christmas break, but not if their McDonald’s don’t have French fries.
* What if you took the hash browns, ran them through a slicer to make long, skinny strips, and fry those? Do I have to think of everything?
* It’s Japan. Can’t they fool people by substituting deep-fried baby eels?
