MCDONALD’S BATHROOM RESTRICTIONS IN AUSTRALIA
So, Starbucks has opened up its bathrooms to customers and non-customers alike. In Australia, in order to use the bathroom at a McDonald’s restaurant in Maroochydore, Queensland, customers have to first place their order and use the code on the bottom of the receipt to get access to the bathroom. Numerous people have taken to social media to criticize the policy, claiming the amount of extra time it takes to go the bathroom has already caused one “accident” and other near-misses. One woman wrote of her toddler not being able to hold it. Another wrote of a 90-year-old grandma with a walker who needed to go after she had already eaten and returned to her car, and had to back and re-order to get another code.
* Doesn’t anybody “go before they leave the house” anymore?
* Meh. Before you walk in, grab somebody’s receipt from the garbage can outside.
* How about you can use the bathroom if you can spell “Maroochydore”?
* Stop complaining. When you order, they hand you a cup, right? It’s not just for the soda pop.
* Time to switch to Burger King.
