MAN’S CAR IMPOUNDED 30 SECONDS AFTER HE BOUGHT IT

A man from Northampton, England, bought a brand new Renault Megane back on November 18. He drove it off the lot and immediately came very close to crashing into a police car. The officer made a traffic stop, and asked the guy for his license and insurance. He told the cop he just bought the car 30 seconds ago, and did not have insurance, which is mandatory by law. The cop impounded the car.
* They should have arrested him for buying a Renault.
* Come on. If he HAD money for insurance, do you really think he’d be buying a Renault?
* Sounds like the cops purposely hang out next to the car lot to catch people, no?
* Did the cop at least give the guy a ride to his insurance agent?
