MAN WANTS TO MARRY HIS ADOPTED SON

Here is how crazy the marriage laws have become: Three years ago, Nino Esposito, 78, legally adopted Drew Bosee, 68, his partner of forty years, as a way to gain legal family ties in order to get benefits. Now, the couple is trying to reverse the adoption so that they can get legally married, but a state court judge is refusing. Judge Lawrence J. O’Toole denied the couple’s request saying that he was “sensitive to the situation” but that they cannot marry “because they are legally father and son.”
