MAN THREW PIZZA AT ROOMMATE

Police in Treasure Island, Florida, say an argument between roommates about pizza ended end with the pizza flying across the room. Daniel Allen Plunkett, 50, allegedly threw a slice at his female roommate, “striking her in the left hand.” The pizza was hot, according to the June 3 arrest report. Police say Plunkett denied throwing the pizza, and he “was not wearing a shirt and had pizza sauce on his chest and shorts.” Plunkett also claimed the roommate threw pizza at him. Police say Plunkett was under the influence of alcohol.

* You’re supposed to toss the pizza as you make it, not after it’s delivered.

* At least it wasn’t a deep dish pizza.
* He wasn’t wearing a shirt and had pizza sauce on his chest and shorts? Maybe he tried to make love to the pizza.

* I say if you turn 50 and you still have a roommate, you’re on a bad path to begin with.
