MAN TAKES HELICOPTER TO BUY ICE CREAM CAKE AT DAIRY QUEEN
A Saskatchewan man is in trouble with the law after he landed a helicopter next to a Dairy Queen to pick up an ice cream cake. Around 5 p.m. on July 31, police received a complaint that a helicopter had landed in a high traffic parking lot, blowing up dust and debris. A passenger climbed out of the helicopter and bought an ice cream cake, then took off. While the pilot was licensed, it was illegal to land the helicopter in the area. The man is charged with one count of dangerous operation of an aircraft.
* Ironically, he now faces a Blizzard of charges.
* Look, you gotta get those things home quick, before they melt.
* A helicopter would also be good for picking up food at an In-N-Out.
* Wonder if he’s also a helicopter parent?
