MAN SUES OVER CO-WORKER’S FARTING ON HIM

An Australian engineer is suing his company for not dealing with a co-worker who kept farting on him. David Hingst, 56, from Melbourne, had sought $1.8 million in a suit against his former employer Construction Engineering, but a judge tossed the case last year, finding there was no bullying. Mr. Hingst is now appealing the ruling, arguing that “flatulence was a form of bullying”, and his ex-colleague Greg Short was a serial farter. Mr. Hingst said he would be sitting with his face to the wall and Short would come into the room, which was small and had no windows, let one fly and walk away. He would do this five or six times a day. In addition, he claims Short — his manager at the time — abused him over the phone and at times would taunt him. The Court of Appeal judges are expected to deliver their ruling on the appeal on Friday.
* But don’t hold your breath. Unless that stinky Greg Short is nearby.
* Having a guy taunt you by breaking wind. I bet he was fuming.
* “Hello, Hingst. It’s time for your 2pm farting.”
* You’d think this case would be a breeze.
* He should bring a class action on the ass action.
