MAN SHOT OVER POTATO CHIPS
A Detroit man was shot in the groin by a man who stole his potato chips. Authorities say the 59-year-old victim was walking outside a McDonald’s when a stranger grabbed a bag of potato chips out of his hands. The man then told the suspect, “Yo, man, give me back my chips,” and took the chips back. The suspect pulled a gun, shot him and fled the scene. The victim was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital, where he’s listed in stable condition. He is expected to recover. The gunman escaped with the potato chips.
* Well, the thief couldn’t take just one now, could he?
* Do you know the sound you make when you get shot over a bag of potato chips? “Utz!”
* We’re rapidly reaching the point where people will start being shot just for looking at someone funny.
* Or maybe even just for looking funny. “Hey, you – big ears!” BLAM!
* “You can have my chips when you pry them out of my cold, dead – wait, actually, I don’t want to go there.”
* This story has nothing to do with McDonald’s, and somehow it still seems like they’re to blame.
* I don’t like this robber. He thinks he’s all that and a bag of chips.
* And that’s why I don’t go to Detroit much anymore.
* The victim is expected to recover except for never, ever being the same again.
* I think the moral here is eat everything in the restaurant before you leave.
* Oh, and don’t bring potato chips to a gun fight.
