MAN PUBLISHING HAND-WRITTEN NOVEL

A British comedian has written a novel and will publish it in longhand – no typewriter, no computer, no typeface. Andy Hamilton used a pen and paper to write all 349 pages of his new novel titled “Longhand.” Hamilton’s handwriting is neat and easy-to-read with some crossings-out on some pages. Hamilton says he hand-wrote it because “This feels like the moment when we’re waving goodbye to handwriting. And I think that if handwriting does disappear, it will be a loss – a loss of intimacy.” The novel is about a man who is forced to leave the woman he loves behind and writes her a handwritten note to explain why.
* Well he must be quite a comedian ’cause the plot sounds freakin’ hilarious.
* Do women really want a guy who will dump them with a 349-page handwritten note?
* I think by page 26 she’ll be really grateful that the weirdo up and took off.
* Thanks, but instead of reading it, I’ll wait for the audiobook. That’ll show ‘im.
* He should have had his book sponsored by Bic.
* PHONE TOPIC: In this age of computers, do you find that you’ve forgotten how to write using a pen or pencil?
